How to focus in just 2 ways?

After reading quite a good amount of books on focusing and multi-tasking I have concluded that there’s no such thing. Hold on, let me explain.

Sure, the POMODORO technique works. But if you really, closely look at every other technique out there. It just talks about (planning, structuring, time blocking, color coding, blocks)

Synonym much?

Plain and simple, there are just two things you really need to get that work done.
1. Interest.
2. A reason.

It’s a well-known concept that we hate deadlines, but love starting to work on our tasks just a couple of hours before them.

The feeling of “Thank god, I made it, I did it” is what drives us. The actual purpose, plus the interest, “so, What IS it? What difference does using this model make? Who killed the hero? Who will the star end up with?”

We loooove cliffhangers (yeah, it’s hard for me to accept this as well)

Sure, we have distractions. But why do we “choose” to get distracted? 🤔

-You can always switch off your phone, delete your social media, shift your workspace to… I don’t know, the floor?
-We’re making conscious choices every time we tell ourselves we’re not focused.
-What we need to figure out is, why do I feel so uninspired to work on this? To focus on this? What can I do about that?

Focus is just less planning and more implementation.
